My Podcast Interview On Religious Trauma, Sexual Shame, & Unpublishing My Book on Lust

It is life-changing what can happen when we commit wholeheartedly to our own healing. It can lead to monumental shifts in how we view every area of our lives. I know from experience. I never could have predicted 4 years ago where I would be today. Nobody could have predicted it. But the changes in my life have been profound and I feel finally free.

In my recent interview on the Your Therapist Need Therapy podcast, I shared publicly about many major professional and personal changes. I shared about why I became a therapist and how the trajectory of my work shifted drastically from sex addiction treatment to religious trauma work. I shared about my journey of believing I was a porn addict for decades to realizing I wasn’t, after lots of in depth healing, therapy, and deconstruction of old beliefs. I shared about unpublishing my book Life After Lust. This was the first interview in which I publicly shared details about many major changes. I shared about IFS, psychedlics, life after religion, and life as a therapist. It was a fun interview and I really hope it brings people hope.

Here are some highlights from the interview:

I invite you to listen here and consider what changes you want in your life.

I hope you find the interview inspiring and encouraging. If you want support in healing from religious trauma and sexual shame, I invite you to reach out to me. I am here to help.
