The Neuroscience of Loneliness

Are you or someone you know feeling lonely these days? If so, I highly recommend the new video by my colleague and friend Chelsea DeKruyff, LPC called Understanding Loneliness and How To Cope With It. In this informative video, Chelsea compassionately and thoroughly examines loneliness, explaining its neuroscience and sharing some great tips for coping with it. I hope you’ll take some time to watch this insightful and practical lesson. Then, I invite you to subscribe to her brand new YouTube channel and check out her online mindfulness classes to gain additional tools to support you through these challenging times.

Also, Chelsea has generously contributed an additional 47 minute interview explaining The Neuroscience of Trauma, Mindfulness, and Self-Compassion. That interview was recorded exclusively for the Heroes in Recovery program, so I invite you to join us as we explore these topics that are extremely relevant to the recovery journey.

I wish you relief from your loneliness and suffering through these challenging times.

In support,

Forest Benedict, LMFT, SATP
