Soul Fuel

This morning as I prepared my soul for the day, the word “fuel” surfaced in my mind.

Let me ask, what fuels your soul?

Do you run from day to day on empty?

Do you fill your tank with dirt and sludge, in denial of the natural law of sowing and reaping?

I am reminded that the source of my soul’s strength is my Savior.

Jesus said, “Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.” John 15:4

May we remain mindful of our soul’s strength and deficiencies today.

May we invest in the seconds of solitude that lead to the refueling and refocusing our souls thirst for.
